About This Piece

Vintage Design

Important to avoid any confusion: 5 units in total. Secondly there is another single light lot (4 units available) in my advert which would be a perfect match. Pair of sculptural appliques. The sconces were showing some age from regular use and discoloration of the gold. I had them completely repolished and gilded with thick gold plating and rewired them. I am listing with the attribution of Jansen (Maison Jansen) although I have not found any listing with these pieces. Very well made and with attention to the smallest details. The back plate covers the American box. High-impact applique for a touch of gold and glam. Since the shade is not transparent, the light is only atmospheric and takes on a very warm tone thanks to the reflection on the gold.
