Contemporary Design

This table consists of a characteristically English 3 cm thick oak top supported by a pair of patinated steel x-frame trestle supports in addition to a middle centre support, each with a wooden plinth.

Please note that these tables are built to be used; the surfaces of the table tops are given only a light oil or wax, which allows for daily use, spillages and wear to build up a patina over time.

While this process may require some daring, patience and trust, it will show a result in 18 months well worth the wait, and in five years the table might even be mistaken for an antique.
