Vintage Design

Very large rectangular empty pocket "Maxims de Paris" in its original box with decoration inspired by the legendary works of Henri Toulouse Lautrec, painter of life in Montmartre. Lautrec was also an illustrator and poster designer for the world of cabarets and café concerts.

After more than 120 years of history, Maxim's has become a truly legendary universe and today stands out as one of the most famous and legendary French brands, thanks to its inestimable historical heritage.
Maxim’s is the symbol of celebration, elegance and refinement.
It was Eugène Cornuché, maître d’hôtel, who, on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of 1900, gave the restaurant its worldwide notoriety. By calling on popular artists from the Nancy school, he transformed the establishment into a true temple of Art Nouveau, today classified as a “Historic Monument of France”.
Maxim’s then becomes the essential and privileged place for major international stars:
Marcel Proust, La Belle Otéro, Maria Callas, Sacha Guitry, then Brigitte Bardot, Barbara Streisand, John Travolta, Dita Von Teese or even Lady Gaga and Kylie Minogue, etc.
