We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely Handmade in Russia solid silver with gold gilt internals Cloisonne Enamel cigarette case I have two of these, the other is listed under my other items for sale These are absolutely sublime, the craftsmanship is exquisite, it would take me a hundred years to try and do this kind of work, you have hundreds and hundreds of small mosaic style individual sections which have been carefully sculpted, then cast in the Cloisonne technique with enamel The main body is solid silver, it's 84 grade Russian silver and has the 84 stamped alone with the sideways facing head. This dates to 1880, it’s a very large cigarette case for the era, it would fit today's cigarettes with ease, most likely it was used for small cigars Dimensions Height:- 12.8cm Width:- 9.3cm including clasp, 8.7cm without clasp Depth: 2.3cm Weight:- 327.5 grams Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point .
