An Extrmely Attractive Early 19th Century French Sycamore Framhouse Kitchen Dining Table, To Comfortably Seat 12 People, Having Well Figured Thick Plank Top Of Excellent Colour And Surface, Raised On Four Strong Square Tapered Legs To Each Corner.

A fabulously charming early 19th century farmhouse kitchen dining table of great size, comfortably seating 12 people, which is pretty rare, and also the perfect shape to use in a whole variety of dining rooms and kitchens with all sorts of different styles and designs of chairs.

It is unusual to find such large examples of these early 19th century french variations, especially those which retain such a lovely colour and are still so functional. Most of those found on the market now are from much later in the 19th century and tend not to have the depth of colour and richness of surface which this table boasts.

Clearly the table has been well used and loved throughout its life and the incredible thick top does have various old blemishes, marks, dents and scrapes etc, however this is something which one would wish to find on a functional and well used piece of furniture which is around 200 years old. Certainly the table could tell more than a few stories of great nights spent sat around it for hours on end.

The entire table is sturdy, strong and very much fit for purpose, whilst remaining extremely attractive. Another great feature is the stretcherless design, ensuring that there are no support stretchers getting in a person, or chairs way whilst trying to tuck under the table.

A charming table of great size, which can comfortably seat 12 and is the perfect shape for just about any dining room, which can be used with just about any kind of chair this would be a fantastic addition to any type and style of home.

As with all items we offer for sale it has been naturally wax polished, in the traditional manner, by our specialist antique furniture restorers before being offered for sale, ensuring it is ready to be placed straight into the home.
