Exceptional painting depicting a Mediterranean seascape. The two fishing boats in the center of the composition stand out. In the farthest part you can see a town with a small port characteristic of coastal areas.

The use of different brush strokes stands out, since in some areas the brush stroke is shorter and more material, which generates different textures depending on the amount of pigment used. The color range is made up of earthy and warm colors. The work moves between impressionism and post-impressionism, where artists no longer focus on precise details, but rather the way of treating light becomes the protagonist. In this case, the pink color of the sky suggests that it is dawn.

Signed in the lower right corner, where you can read "L. Loni", in addition, a stamp appears on the back of the French framing workshop "Chiesa. Marchand d'estampes".

Finally, one cannot ignore the stunning gilt finished wooden frame with excellent scrollwork and carved ornamental flowers. Without a doubt, it is a unique piece that will add elegance to any room and will not leave anyone indifferent.
