Ginger Zalaba has taken it upon herself to initiate her first furniture collection in honor of her grandfather Otto Kolb - a Swiss born architect and industrial designer. The Otto Kolb® redesigns represent the 1950s and 60s era of sleek furniture design. Zalaba‘s inspiration originates from design classics of the mid-20th century, an era responsible for shaping what we know today as Modern Design.

Otto Kolb taught design at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago during the 1940s. In addition to teaching, Kolb was commissioned to build several contemporary homes in the United States, among them the Horner-House in Illinois which was entered in the National Register of Historic Places. Kolb was honored with an award from the New York Museum of Modern Art. During the 1950s and 60s,

Kolb produced a limited edition of modern furniture. One of his chairs is exhibited in the Louvre in Paris. Otto Kolb’s furniture has been featured in auctions held by both Sotheby’s and Quittenbaum.

Delivery Details

Delivery will be completed by a parcel service such as UPS, DHL, or FedEx.
You will receive a tracking number to monitor the status of your shipment.
Delivery will take place between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
A signature will be required upon delivery.
