About This Piece

A vibrant geometric abstract composition that explores form and interaction, executed in tempera onto canvas and dated 1991. The painting features a dynamic arrangement of amoebic shapes in overlapping layers. The subject matter is intentionally non-representational, evoking the energy of human presence or social exchange through softened silhouettes that seem to drift, merge, or dance within a flat pictorial space. Rendered in bold blocks of solid colour – striking red and orange, yellow, cobalt blue, and deep plum – the forms float atop a simplified two-tone background of blue and green, suggestive of sky and earth. The palette is both playful and intentional, using contrast to create visual depth without shadows or gradients.
