"Lithograph By Henri Rivière Aspects Of Nature - Summer Evening" This lithograph “Les Aspects de la Nature - Soir d'été” is signed Henri Rivière and bears a red stamp at the bottom right. The work is authentic and old. Note a tear on the left (4.5 cm) from the margin to the work, a tear (4 cm) obliquely in the bottom margin, a small tear at the top (0.8 cm). Note traces and a slightly warped edge. On the work, we report a small lack of ink at the bottom right, very small stains. We have taken as many photos of the defects as possible so that you can judge the condition. Sold as presented. Henri Rivière (1864-1951) is a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career with drawing and then with intaglio engraving and specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and scenographer, in 1886, of the shadow theater at the Chat Noir cabaret, shows that he improved by creating very innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, printmaking, woodcuts, lithography and watercolor (he painted about a thousand watercolors).
