Vintage Design

The objects pictured are glass Christmas tree ornaments. This type of mouth-blown and hand-painted Christmas tree decoration has a long tradition dating back to the 19th century in Lauscha, Germany. The stripes were painted on by hand, and the snow was sprinkled onto the ornaments.
