Seafoam Sirenetta hand-painted pendant lamp by Mirei Monticelli Dimensions: D 20 x H 65 cm Materials: Banaca fabric Sirenetta, inspired by the sea siren. When the sun hits the horizon, imagine it gracefully swimming to the water surface to catch a glimpse of her lover. This suspension lamp is made from banaca (banana-abaca) textile, sculpted to evoke undulating shapes that remind us of the mythical little mermaid. Mirei is a Milan-based multidisciplinary designer who started her career in her birth place, the Philippines. Working from her roots has exposed her to the world of traditional manufacturing and production of furniture, where everything is made by hand. This environment exposed her to the beautiful world of artisan crafts, but then gave her the yearning to explore state-of-the-art techniques that come from the western world – which led her to study at Politecnico di Milano with a Masters degree in Design and Engineering in 2017. In 2019, she founded Studiomirei. On the same year, she won the Salone Satellite special mention award for the Nebula lamp during the Salone del Mobile.

Delivery Details

Delivery will be completed by a parcel service such as UPS, DHL, or FedEx.
You will receive a tracking number to monitor the status of your shipment.

A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
A signature will be required upon delivery.
