GE-375 High Back Easy Armchair in Oak and Leather by Hans Wegner for Getama, Denmark, 1960s

Special, Danish vintage 1st-class design classic from the mid-century era from Denmark in the 1960s.

* High-back armchair with wide armrests, original from GETAMA (Denmark) model GE-375 / gentlemen lounge armchair.
* 1969 design by Hans J. Wegner.
* with original cover in high-quality, easy-care dark brown leather.

CONDITION
The armchair is in well-maintained and more than good vintage condition with superficial and age-appropriate, non-serious signs of wear on the oak frame and some patina on the leather.
+ These are on the wood: a few, smaller chips, surface scratches or small notches.
+ The leather is also well cared for, has the usual, only slight traces of time and is beautifully patinated. It. There are occasional slight age and light-related color irregularities as well as small surface scratches and some roughened areas as well as slight surface abrasions. In our opinion, the leather still looks very nice and is not damaged.
+ The original tension/seat straps (made of leather) underneath are all still there, they still serve their function well, but some of these straps may need to be replaced in the foreseeable future as some of them are a bit drier, but these are good online to get.
