Jacques Pouchain's tripod pot, made in chamotte clay and decorated with a white-to-brown fading glaze, is a perfect illustration of his innovative approach to ceramics. Jacques Pouchain interrupted his studies to devote himself to the creation of one-off pieces, often marked by the use of a white glaze applied to manganese oxide. His work reflects a poetic and aesthetic sensibility that has enabled him to distinguish himself in the ceramics world.
