Vintage Design

French Mid-Century Modern sgraffito pottery table lamp in a substantial teardrop form with all-over hand-incised decoration and a variegated olive-to-ochre matte glaze. Crafted circa 1960s at La Grange aux Potiers by René and Madeleine de Valence; clearly marked “GP” and “PIÈCE UNIQUE.” The carved surface shows spirals, wave bands, and foliate motifs with crisp depth and organic movement.

Original B22 bayonet socket in full working order; uses B22 bulbs. Listed height includes the shade. Ideal for Mid-Century and Organic Modern interiors and collectors of French studio ceramics.
