Elie Pesatori, Italian painter (1923-2000)
His expressionist, figurative style is distinguished by its expressive, melancholic strokes and scenes of life, which he depicts with lucid spontaneity. His work presents not a world of seduction, but a universe of labor and thought, where the human being, buffeted throughout their existence, attains a grandeur without emphasis or illusions.
