About This Piece

Vintage Design

An elegant period Italian mirror, featuring a richly carved and shaped wooden frame with refined ornamental motifs of scrolls, curls, and floral decorations.

The highly sculptural and dynamic composition features a prominent carved central cornice and a sinuous structure, typical of Italian decorative art between the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The frame is embellished with a dark, glossy finish, which enhances the depth of the carvings and gives the piece a particularly elegant and dramatic appearance.

The large original mirror pane has a natural patina.
It shows signs of wear consistent with age and use.
