Gallery Jean-Louis DANANT been situated on Avenue Matignon for over twenty years. Danant exhibits mid-century furniture dating from the 1930s to the 1980s. Featuring classic furniture designs alongside art objects, this collection combines the elegant expertise of French designers like Gilbert Poillerat, Jacques Adnet, André Arbus, Jean Royère, Jean Pascaud and Jules Leleu, lighting by Félix Agostini, ceramics from the 1950s to the 1980s by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte, Gio Ponti, Gabriella Crespi, Riccardo Scarpa, Ettore Sottsass and Alessandro Mendini. The gallery also offers modernist pieces from Michel Boyer, Paul Evans, Jean Mayodon and Georges Jouve, as well as examples of Italian design from the 1950s to the 1980s by Jouve, Chale and Verner Panton. Aside from sourcing and selling design pieces, the gallery organises exhibitions featuring the works of classic and contemporary sculptors like André Deluol, Rosette Bir, Jean-Pierre Formica, Victor Roman, Fred Brouard, Igor Ustinov, Emile Gilioli, Viliano Tarabella, Robert Couturier, Tloupas Philolaos, Manuel Simon, Maroeska Metz and Jonathan Knight.
