Founded in 2000 in Frankfurt, Germany by its namesake, Frank Landau features mid-century design objects created by architects, designers, and craftsmen from Italy, Scandinavia, Germany, and America. The gallery presents work by George Nelson, Edward Wormley, Gino Sarfatti, and Poul Kjærholm among others. Since 2009, the gallery has also successfully collaborated with Zurich-based Galerie Dierking, joining together to organize biannual exhibitions and art fair presentations that combine design with contemporary art and African sculptures. In fall 2015, in collaboration with the Frankfurt gallery owner Anita Beckers, Frank Landau opened a new gallery in downtown Frankfurt, with the aim of presenting avant-garde and contemporary art exhibitions. In addition to its collection, Frank Landau offers interior design consultancy services for both the private and commercial sectors.
