About This Piece

Vintage Design

A selection of modular wall units from the popular PS System designed by Preben Sørensen in the early 1950s and manufactured in Denmark by Randers Møbelfabrik. This supremely versatile system can be configured in countless combinations with each of the shelves and cabinets independently hung on metal pins inserted into holes along the vertical rails.

This combination comprises 4 x 1.96m wall rail; 3 x 20cm book shelves with brass suspension arms; 1 x 30cm book shelf with brass suspension arms; 1 x 45cm shelf with brass suspension arms; 1 x sliding door cabinet with brass inset handles unit 45cm d x 50cm h; 2 x drop-down door cocktail cabinets with locks 40cm d x 40cm h; hanging pins and shelf supports. All units are 80cm wide. Overall width 244cm.

Good vintage condition; some minor marks and wear consistent with age with small restorations; two of the wall rails have been replaced.
