We are offering a Danish Mid-Century Modern leather sofa (2-seater), a Danish design classic from the 1960s-1970s.
True mid-century vintage object from Denmark Design by Georg Thams for Vejen Polster-Mobelfabrik Denmark in timelessly modern cognac brown.

* The design is in style and comparable to the well-known sofa classics from Borge Mogensen.
* The furniture manufacturer Thams Kavalitet / Vejen stands for Danish craftsmanship of the highest quality.
* Georg Thams was a renowned Danish Mid-Century Modern furniture designer who designed some Danish Mid-Century seating classics.
* The cover is made of high-quality, supple and soft and thick aniline smooth leather, in the timelessly modern color cognac brown, the color varies in intensity depending on the light.
* The solid base frame is made of fine teak.
* Clean lines and minimalism are striking features of this design.
* Due to the good padding all around, the sofa is extremely comfortable.

CONDITION
The sofa is in good, well-kept and beautiful vintage condition with what we consider to be acceptable age-related marks on the surface of the leather and on the wood.
There are no serious, deep-seated damages such as cracks and holes in the leather. However, upon closer inspection, even after thorough cleaning and care by us, there are still occasional deep-seated signs of wear, typical patina in the “neuralgic” areas of the leather.
