About This Piece

Vintage Design

A refined pair of Danish lounge chairs dating to the 1940s, designed in an elegant Art Deco–influenced style. The chairs feature sculptural silhouettes with softly curved backs and distinctive bentwood armrests, showcasing fine Danish craftsmanship, with legs and armrests crafted in solid beech.

Recently reupholstered in a beige bouclé fabric, the chairs offer both comfort and a tactile, contemporary appeal while remaining true to their mid-century character. The warm-toned wooden armrests provide a contrast to the textured upholstery and emphasize the organic lines of the design.

Crafted by a Danish cabinetmaker, these chairs exemplify the understated sophistication and quality materials associated with Scandinavian furniture of the period.

The chairs are in very good condition with light, age-appropriate patina to the wood.

A versatile and stylish pair, ideal for both modern and classic interiors.
