About This Piece

Vintage Design

Flat plate made of transparent blown glass with heraldic decoration in colored enamel on the eaves.
Signed Gordiola Mallorca in black enamel also on the eaves.
The house Gordiola, Palma de Mallorca, makes blown glass since the 1t8th Century, the way of working came to the island from Venice where it was adapted to more rustic models than the Italians.
