Alberto Magnelli (1888-1971) is a famous Italian artist; he can be considered as a precursor of Abstract movement in Europe. He started with futurists but since 1915 starts to create abstract compositions. He elaborated a personal vision of painting, creating a current that he has defined as ''Imaginary Realism''. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price.
