Vintage Design

This original, period midcentury lamp was designed by Jan Hoogervorst for the Dutch company Anvia. Originally available in a range of bright colors, it makes a strong statement as a central lighting feature. Like many midcentury lights for the dining room it can be adjusted in height using a spring mechanism. Typical of Hoogervorst's designs, it gives a very distinctive light pattern: a bright line of light across the walls as well as suitable downlighting for a table below it. No problem, the lamp works everywhere in the world Furnished with adjustable flex that allows it to hang at different heights by pulling the cables into the ceiling plate. The chromed frame is in excellent undamaged condition. And the curved metal shades are in good condition. All the electrical parts have been checked and new fitting E27 and has some possible signs of some previous restoration to the paintwork. Measures: Height 31.4 inch Diameter 13.3 inch.
