Vintage Design

This cylindrical photophore lamp has rectangular openings of random height while the surface is enamelled with a satin white and copper green shaded surface. This evokes the ceramic experiments of the 1950s, both by the kinship with Jacques Blin for the colour and the openings causing indirect plays of light such as those practised by stoneware potters such as Barbara Delfosse or Annie Maume.
