About This Piece

Vintage Design

What you see here is a complete living room furniture set, St. Moritz model by Klaus Rausch. Brutalism at its finest. The set consists of a four-seater sofa, two armchairs, a pendant lamp, a coffee table, a sideboard, and a shelving unit. Made of solid spruce wood. The shelving unit and sideboard can be disassembled. Of particular note are the extremely rare pendant lamp and the seat and back cushions for the sofa and armchairs. The seat and back cushions were recently covered with slipcovers, which I have removed. The current condition of all cushions is excellent and well-maintained. The upholstery is also firm and comfortable. The pendant lamp has a round white glass shade. There are various minor signs of wear consistent with age on the spruce wood. You won't currently find a complete set of furniture by Klaus Rausch online. If you appreciate this Brutalist style, this is the perfect piece for you.
Overall, the set is in good to very good original condition.
