Vintage Design

A refined and imposing vintage table lamp with a geometric block, crafted from fine Italian alabaster in the 1970s. This piece beautifully marries the rigor of modernist forms with the material warmth typical of Brutalist and mid-century design.

The lamp stands out for its sculptural rectangular body, embellished with horizontal grooves (fluted details) engraved on both the top and base, reminiscent of classical architecture with a 1970s geometric twist. At the center, a deep circular recess houses the light source, creating a stunning geometric contrast between the rigidity of the block and the softness of the void.

The true magic of this object is revealed once lit: the natural grain, amber hues, and intrinsic translucency of the alabaster filter the light in a warm and soft manner, transforming the lamp into a sculptural and atmospheric focal point for any credenza, side table, or desk.
