Pair of brown corduroy Modular Lounge Chairs by DUX, Sweden, 1970s

A highly comfortable and visually understated pair of vintage modular lounge chairs produced by DUX in Sweden during the 1970s. Designed with the relaxed, low-slung proportions that define Scandinavian modern seating from the period, the chairs combine generous comfort with a clean architectural silhouette. Their armless construction allows them to be used individually or positioned together as a compact two-seat sofa.

The chairs are upholstered in their original wide-rib cotton corduroy in a warm camel-brown tone, a fabric that perfectly complements the soft tufted cushions and the sculptural profile. The upholstery shows a beautiful vintage character while remaining highly presentable. Deep button tufting across the seat and back cushions enhances both comfort and the distinctly 1970s aesthetic.

Equally suitable for residential interiors, hospitality projects, or collectors of Scandinavian design, this DUX set offers timeless appeal and exceptional lounging comfort.

The is a 3rd one available that needs repair on the seating area.
