This antique Boulè "passport" mask from the Ivory Coast was purchased in its country of origin around the mid-1950s. The colors are vibrant and well preserved. The expression is suggestive and intense. The mask was restored only conservatively, without altering any element. The rear nail was driven in the 1980s and never removed
