pretty hand-painted farmer's cupboard Dimensions: height x width x depth 190 x 110 x 54 Here we offer you a pretty old hand-painted farmer's cupboard from around 1824. This antique Biedermeier farmhouse box, dated to circa 1824, is an impressive original piece of this era. The two-door cabinet can be locked with a Biedermeier lock with the initial “PC” and is in a very good, clean, original condition. What particularly stands out is the elegant bevel on the front and the beautiful head, which is adorned with the year “1824”. The doors are supported by sturdy, exposed iron hinges, giving the cabinet a rustic, authentic touch. A special detail is the original wallpaper inside, which has a charming floral pattern. The doors of the cabinet are coffered, with square panels that, like the beveled corners, are artfully decorated with hand-painted flowers. These floral details give the cabinet a soft, nostalgic aesthetic. The cabinet stands stably on round ball feet and, despite its age, shows only slight abrasion, which further emphasizes its character and history. This cabinet is a beautiful and authentic original piece from the Biedermeier period that has retained its rural charm to this day.
