Marked by his roots, his brutalist poetry is charged with the mineral aridity of the coast, the light so particular of the desert asperities, the discreet and austere sensuality of its inhabitants and the power of the cultural references which immerse each moment. He tirelessly cultivates the oppositions that create emotion. Contrasts of the rough and the smooth, of the poor material and the rich detail, of the power and the delicacy, of the shadow and the brightness, of the strength and the fragile, of the modest and the flamboyant, of the brutal gesture and the light breath. His bronzes with dark patinas are marked with glints, lacquers, gold leaves and silver clasps.
