Bauhaus Cantilever Seating Group from Germany/former Czechoslovakia, circa 1930. Consisting of two armchairs (S43F), two chairs (S43), and on the matching table from the same period. Chair design by Mart Stam and/or Marcel Breuer, 1927/28 (not finally proven). Execution probably by the Thonet, licensed production by Robert Slezak, 1930s Chromed tubular steel construction, completely new galvanized. High-gloss lacquered walnut veneer and solid beech on the armrests. Very good seat comfort. The matching table in oak with chromed steel tubes and in-between tableau. The same restoration like the chairs, lacquered and galvanized. Polished decorative trim around the edge.
