About This Piece

Vintage Design

A stunning vintage rattan and bamboo wall unit, likely dating back to the late 1960s. This style is often associated with the "Boho Chic" or "Tiki" movements, where natural materials and organic shapes were used to create a relaxed, tropical atmosphere.
The "triple arch" (or cathedral) top is a classic silhouette from that era. It offers a striking display area for plants, books, or ceramics. The materials used are wide-section bamboo for the supporting structure and wicker or woven rattan for the door panels and shelves. This is a cabinet with a raised top, combining open shelves for display and closed compartments (drawers and doors) at the base.
