Original and fine Austrian table in walnut; was built between 1930 and 1935 in a small carpentry Abtenau, an Austrian municipality in the Hallein district near Salzburg, in the small town there were several workshops wood and even today produces you one of the most important factories of the Austrian furniture the Voglauer. The structure is very simple but extremely elegant, a solid square base with rounded corners supports, by means of a square column, an upper floor of the same shape but of course larger, the floor is finished with a beautiful black crystal, glued to the wood, with edges beveled, cut corners and rounded with grinding. For its realization has been used an exceptional quality of European walnut: is a type of wood that for its rich coloring, dimensional stability, resistance to shock and its strength is very widely used in the furnishing of high-end; during the Renaissance it has replaced the use of oak in fine furniture, in the seventeenth century had a lot of space in England and France; was a favorite timber by Masters cabinetmakers Art Deco. With the combination of this valuable wood and black crystal artisans they have succeeded in creating a piece of furniture charming, refined and exciting, which by virtue of its extreme elegance and its soft romantic line, make it versatile and easily placed in any environment. The table is in good condition and the crystal is excellent, and no scratches or cracks. Dimensions Width 60 cm, depth 60 cm, height of 65 cm.
