Vintage Design

This Art Deco veneered sideboard boasts an elegant, architectural silhouette where curved lines, symmetry, and the depth of the wood create a presence that is both understated and luxurious. The wood reveals a flowing grain with warm hues that animates the front with a natural and refined movement. The curved doors open with a fluid gesture, showcasing demanding cabinetmaking skills, while the long, subtly curved, gilt metal handles add a luminous touch that underscores the modernity of the design. The central section, punctuated by concave vertical panels with matching brass trim, reinforces the geometric spirit characteristic of late Art Deco and creates a visual balance between decorative verticality and solid volumes. The whole rests on a recessed, cyma-shaped base, which lightens the structure and gives the piece an almost floating appearance, as if suspended above the floor. This base is encircled with metal at its lower edge.

Inside, two drawers and adjustable shelves provide ample storage space for dishes, linens, or decorative objects, reflecting the functional purpose of Art Deco furniture designed to complement a modern and organized lifestyle.
