Stunning French Art Deco style mantel clock from electric clock manufacturer ATO of Besançon, France. The Art Deco style is characterized by its elegance, geometric shapes and high quality materials. It presents a very distinctive architectural form, with angular lines and a design reminiscent of a small monument of Egyptian inspiration. The base is rectangular and rises with two tall, triangular side panels, creating a frame for the clock face.

It is mainly composed of two stones, emerald onyx from Brazil and black Belgian marble, a spectacular combination of colors. Black marble provides a solid and elegant look, while emerald onyx provides a contrast of color and depth thanks to its veining. The dial is metallic, square in shape, with ATO's characteristic silver spider web pattern and large numbers also in the Art Deco style.

It is manufactured by the ATO brand, known for its high-quality electric clocks in the Art Deco period. It is one of the first battery-powered watches. This adds historical and collector's value to the watch, which combines luxurious materials and geometric design to create a piece that is both functional and decorative.
