This stunning Antique Turkish Aydin Kilim was Hand-knotted in the late 19th Century in the Zagros mountains in Turkey.
High quality Wool dyed with all natural dyes. The brown sheep's wool is undyed.

One of the ancient forms of art within Turkic tribes of Anatolia is that of kilim. The people of Anatolia have a rich history dating back thousands of years, and they have been using similar tools of expression throughout their rich history. The kilims have their own originality and are a piece of the richness of Anatolian art and perhaps the most important and richest examples of all Anatolian art.
