About This Piece

Vintage Design

A stunning antique bench / stool / coffee table. This was made in England, we would date this from around the 1890-1900 period, although it could actually be earlier.

It is of superb quality, with fantastic inlays of satin wood around all the edges, the sides of the X frame base are also beautifully inlaid. This is finished identically front and back, the top is hinged and lifts up to reveal inner storage space.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some minor historical wear remaining beneath the polish here and there.
