Vintage Design

Antique Tekke Main carper or rug. A handsome antique tribal carpet, woven by the Tekke Turkmen tribal groupsin Central Asia. Featuring one often referred to as a "Bukhara" carpet, as Turkmens often sold their highly sought-after carpets in the bazaars of this ancient city. This is a very nice example in a large size and good state of preservation. Is made of the woll and silk, hand-knotted. Comes from 1900's. Wears a traces of use and age. In oryginal very good condition.
