18th Century Louis XVI Style Rosewood Boiled Table with Cubes Marquetry

Louis XVI style boiled table at the end of the 18th century, early 19th century.
This table has a plug decorated with an exceptional marquetry describing a gender scene.

This central landscape is highlighted by a framing of triangles in two contrasting woods.

ASSEMBLY MOUNTING.
The curling work on the belt is typical of Louis XVI style.
It is a marquetry forming superb cubes in rosewood and sycamore too.
The bronzes are of good quality, as much their gilding as their chisel.
Finally, this table rests on four feet sleeves whose hooves are dressed in bronze too.
Beautiful quality table with very high decorative potential.
