About This Piece

Vintage Design

A very fine and sculptural pair of period Rococo armchairs from Sweden.

The frames are richly hand-carved with elegant curves and fluid ornamentation characteristic of the late Baroque/Rococo period. A highly decorative and authentic pair with exceptional presence.

Attributed to Johan Erik Höglander of Stockholm (1750–1813).
